Priego de Córdoba
Casa ZAMBRA is located in the neighborhood of the Villa declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1972.
The Villa is the original urban center of Priego.
Of medieval and Muslim inspiration, it is the brother of the most typical Andalusian neighborhoods, such as the Albaicín in Granada or the Jewish quarter of Córdoba.
Its streets are sinuous, white and narrow, forming a perfect combination of harmony and beauty, of flowers, peace, tranquility, lime and stone.
We recommend visiting its labyrinths and narrow streets, in a route that starts from the Plaza de Santa Ana and runs along Calle Real until you reach the Plaza de San Antonio, continue along Jazmines Street, and once again cross Real Street, exit through El Bajondillo (where , in the nº 4 is Casa Zambra) until the Adarve, open balcony to the Andalusian landscape that embraces and surrounds the Neighborhood of the Villa.
Natural block of considerable unevenness, has guaranteed the impregnability of Priego, for this place, throughout its history, three sources emanate continuously, ready to quench the thirst of the walker. And down there, the river and its fertile orchards, the sierra, the olive tree .
