"The Brothers of the Dawn", are a group of bells that since we have record in the Brotherhood (1,696) to this day, they travel every Saturday of the year (at midnight from Saturday to Sunday) the streets of our city , singing the songs that the people themselves have written for it, with a non-uniform metric and the same melody, calling the faithful to devoutly pray the Rosary, among the praises to God, to the Saints, and above all to their Mother, the Virgin of the Aurora. The Public Rosary, in principle was formed by men, but the massive inscription of women to reach the graces granted by their participation, caused incidents that gave place to that their assistance was for many years forbidden. On July 28, 1780 at 9 and ten o'clock at night, when arriving at the corners of the crossroads of Alba Street, Cañamero, Torrejón and Nueva, the Rosaries of the Aurora and the Mercedes were found, injuring the assistants among themselves, causing scandal and uproar of such severity that "they could produce a mutiny or uprising" ... hence the saying so typical of "WE'LL FINISH LIKE IN THE ROSARY OF THE AURORA". Another characteristic is that when leaving every Saturday of the year, it is requested with a kind of money box that is called "stock", there is a popular saying that says: "PIDES MORE THAN THE BROTHERS OF AURORA".
