The Mora Chacón Wineries of Lucena were founded in 1891, from a family winery prior to 1840, by D. José de Mora y Madroñero, knight of the Royal Order of Carlos III and Isabel la Católica. Their wines, aged in old American oak barrels with dedication, patience and care, are so exquisite that the winery obtained, on July 13, 1891, the title of wine supplier of the Royal House, privilege obtained from the hands of the Queen Regent Doña Maria Cristina. In 1982, the wineries are moved to their current location in Córdoba-Málaga Road, km. 76, where their heirs continue the work being these, with their exquisite wines, a valuable heritage bequeathed from father to son, from generation to generation.
