Taking advantage of the visit to the Castle, you can walk along a pedestrian street that traces the trafficable route between the walls of the fortress and those of the medieval town. This section reveals wall canvases where the different construction techniques used during the Middle Ages can be seen. You will be struck by the small door or postern of the Castillo de los ss. XIV – XV, whose lintel has a Roman inscription added in modern times. The Molino de la Puerta, which gives its name to the street, will take you back to a past imagining the smells and the mundane noise of the town, inhabited by artisans, millers , carpenters, etc. The mill, attached to the Castle, was in use until the twentieth century. Proof of this are the cárcavos of this flour mill, vaults that housed the rodeznos that turned the grinding stones, recovered today. On the road we can also visit one of the few conserved canvases of the Islamic citadel of the s. XIII.
