The main tributary of the Guadalquivir River, the Genil, turns in Iznájar into the major reservoir of Andalusia. It occupies lands of the provinces of Cordoba, Málaga and Granada and with a capacity of over 950 million cubic meters. Just over one kilometre away from Iznájar, on the right bank of the reservoir, we can find an area known as Valdearenas with 1.5 kilometres of beaches.

The nautical station offers an excellent environment for the implementation of nautical activities, in both calm and rough waters for the practice of Rafting, Open Kayak or Kayak in Rough Waters, Canoeing, Paddle Surfing, Windsurfing and Sailing.
