The oldest neighbourhood in Cabra, site of the ancient Licabrum, a primitive Iberian village that would later become Egabro. This neighbourhood houses the remains of the Arab wall, as well as the Parish Church of the Assumption and Angels and the Castle of the Counts of Cabra.

The thickness of the walls is about 2.60m, approximately. Regarding the towers, we can say that two of them are well known, plus the location of another two, which is manifested on the sides of the current entrance door to the enclosure. In the centre of the east wall and half projecting is the keep. It is almost square and is just over 20 m high. At about 11 m from the current ground level there is a square chamber with an octagonal vault, with squinches at the corners. The other tower that is preserved is located in the northwest corner. It has a square floor plan, with the angle facing the interior of the enclosure chamfered, it is still about 10m high. Currently the site houses the convent-college of the RR.MM. Piarist.
