Parish Church of Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario

In some texts, its construction dates back to the middle of the 17th century, around the year 1690, in which reference is made to its alderman, D. Diego Cano. Although in other documents there is reference to a construction of the church around 1778, due to the inscription found on the main dome of the church. With regard to the exterior of the church, we note the three orchards that have been preserved since its construction, as well as a small main garden delimited by the original fence. On the outside, the facade on which the door opens stands out. The whole is crowned by a brick belfry formed of two decreasing bodies. The interior is divided into a single nave with transept, well delimited at the ceiling by its groined vaults compartmentalized by transverse arches. Its bedside is flat with a star-shaped decoration. It also houses four chapels dedicated to the Virgin (main altar), San Isidro (patron of Fuente Tójar), the Chapel of San Francisco and the Chapel of the Sagrario.
